God of Sinai/Zion
Psalms 68:7 O God, when you led your people from Egypt, when you marched through the wilderness, 8 the earth trembled, and the heavens poured rain before you, the God of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel
.
16 Why do you look with envy, O rugged mountains,at Mount Zion, where God has chosen to live, where the LORD himself will live forever? 17 Surrounded by unnumbered thousands of chariots, the Lord came from
Mount Sinai into his sanctuary (Mount Zion).
Psalms 68:18 When you ascended to the heights, you led a crowd of captives. You received gifts from the people, even from those who rebelled against you. Now the LORD God will live among us here. 19 Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. 20 Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign LORD rescues us from death.

Psalm 76:1 God is known in Judah; his name is honored in Israel. 2 He has his home in Jerusalem; he lives on Mount Zion. 3 There he broke the arrows of the enemy, their shields and swords, yes, all their weapons. NLT

God/IL's enemies
Psalms 74:3 Walk through the awful ruins of the city; see how the enemy has destroyed your sanctuary. 4 There your enemies shouted their victorious battle cries; there they set up their battle standards. 5 They chopped down the entrance like woodcutters in a forest. 6 With axes and picks, they smashed the carved paneling. 7 They set the sanctuary on fire, burning it to the ground. They utterly defiled the place that bears your holy name.
Anti-God of IL
8 Then they thought, "Let's destroy everything!" So they burned down all the places where God was worshiped. 9 We see no miraculous signs as evidence that you will save us. All the prophets are gone; no one can tell us when it will end. NLT

Rabbis lack of discernment
Same god in Islam
Demo at the PLO Mission to at the UN, October 05, 2003 : Rabbi Avi Weiss: "And it's not just terror, but radical Islam. As a rabbi, I'm waiting for one Islamic cleric to rise in his mosque and declare, 'this terror is immoral'. My message to my Islamic clerical brethren is, if you are silent, you are complicit, you are an accomplice. We tell the people of Israel, we are with you. And we turn to God and say, 'We want to feel Your presence. We pray that You are listening."
Rabbi Allen Schwartz of Congregation Ohab Zedek told the crowd: "Psalm 120 states, 'I am all for peace, but when I speak, they are for war.'
How many times has Israel asked its neighbors to come to the table to talk? How many victims of terror, grandparents, parents and children must Israel bury? Yet the world speaks in moral relativism. We meet on the eve of Yom Kippur. One translation of 'kippur' is a covering. We must cover - we must meet - this kind of horrific news with even more of our own good deeds, by not giving up hope for a better day."

Unfaithful
Psalms 78:9 The warriors of Ephraim, though fully armed, turned their backs and fled when the day of battle came. 10 They did not keep God's covenant, and they refused to live by his law. 11 They forgot what he had done--the wonderful miracles he had shown them, ...37 Their hearts were not loyal to him. They did not keep his covenant.
Mercy to IL
Psalms 78:38 Yet he was merciful and forgave their sins and didn't destroy them all. Many a time he held back his anger and did not unleash his fury! 39 For he remembered that they were merely mortal, gone in a moment like a breath of wind, never to return. NLT

God/Hist
Psalms 78:1 O my people, listen to my teaching. Open your ears to what I am saying, 2 for I will speak to you in a parable. I will teach you hidden lessons from our past-- 3 stories we have heard and know, stories our ancestors handed down to us. 4 We will not hide these truths from our children but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD. We will tell of his power and the mighty miracles he did. 5 For he issued his decree to Jacob; he gave his law to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children, 6 so the next generation might know them--even the children not yet born--that they in turn might teach their children. 7 So each generation can set its hope anew on God, remembering his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.
8 Then they will not be like their ancestors--stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God. NLT

Psalms 73:21 Then I realized how bitter I had become, how pained I had been by all I had seen. 22 I was so foolish and ignorant--I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. 23 Yet I still belong to you; you are holding my right hand. 24 You will keep on guiding me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.  25 Whom have I in heaven but you? Righteous
Psalms 73:13 Was it for nothing that I kept my heart pure and kept myself from doing wrong? 14 All I get is trouble all day long; every morning brings me pain.

Psalms 69:32 The humble will see their God at work and be glad. Let all who seek God's help live in joy. 33For the LORD hears the cries of his needy ones; he does not despise his people who are oppressed.

Seek/understand
Psalms  70:4But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, "God is great!"
Psalms 73:17 Then one day I went into your sanctuary, O God, and I thought about the destiny of the wicked. 18 Truly, you put them on a slippery path and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction. 19 In an instant they are destroyed, swept away by terrors. 20 Their present life is only a dream that is gone when they awake. When you arise, O Lord, you will make them vanish from this life. NLT

5 O Lord, you alone are my hope. I've trusted you, O LORD, from childhood. 6 Yes, you have been with me from birth; from my mother's womb you have cared for me. No wonder I am always praising you! 7 My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. 8 That is why I can never stop praising you;I declare your glory all day long... 14 But I will keep on hoping for you to help me;I will praise you more and more. 15I will tell everyone about your righteousness. All day long I will proclaim your saving power, for I am overwhelmed by how much you have done for me. 16 I will praise your mighty deeds, O Sovereign LORD. I will tell everyone that you alone are just and good. 17 O God, you have taught me from my earliest childhood, and I have constantly told others about the wonderful things you do. 18 Now that I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me proclaim your power to this new generation, your mighty miracles to all who come after me.

Own thinking
Romans 1: 21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead.
