Rule_live Mt Zion_Jlm_Israel God of Sinai/Zion Psalms 68:7 O God, when you led your people from Egypt, when you marched through the wilderness, 8 the earth trembled, and the heavens poured rain before you, the God of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel. 16 Why do you look with envy, O rugged mountains,at Mount Zion, where God has chosen to live, where the LORD himself will live forever? 17 Surrounded by unnumbered thousands of chariots, the Lord came from Mount Sinai into his sanctuary (Mount Zion). Psalms 68:18 When you ascended to the heights, you led a crowd of captives. You received gifts from the people, even from those who rebelled against you. Now the LORD God will live among us here. 19 Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. 20 Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign LORD rescues us from death. Psalm 76:1 God is known in Judah; his name is honored in Israel. 2 He has his home in Jerusalem; he lives on Mount Zion. 3 There he broke the arrows of the enemy, their shields and swords, yes, all their weapons. Divide_no peace_judge_enemies God's enemies Psalms 68:1 For the choir director: A psalm of David. A song. Arise, O God, and scatter your enemies. Let those who hate God run for their lives. 2 Drive them off like smoke blown by the wind. Melt them like wax in fire. Let the wicked perish in the presence of God. [Wicket - enemy vs godly in 3 But let the godly rejoice.Let them be glad in God's presence.Let them be filled with joy.] 5...But for rebels, there is only famine and distress. Psalms 68:11 The Lord announces victory, and throngs of women shout the happy news. 12 Enemy kings and their armies flee, while the women of Israel divide the plunder. 13 Though they lived among the sheepfolds, now they are covered with silver and gold, as a dove is covered by its wings. 14 The Almighty scattered the enemy kings like a blowing snowstorm on Mount Zalmon. Psalms 68:...20 Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign LORD rescues us from death. 21 But God will smash the heads of his enemies, crushing the skulls of those who love their guilty ways. 22 The Lord says, "I will bring my enemies down from Bashan; I will bring them up from the depths of the sea. 23 You, my people, will wash your feet in their blood, and even your dogs will get their share!" Psalms 69:9 Passion for your house (G's work TLB; kingdom -Ed) burns within me, so those who insult you are also insulting me. Isa 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. 16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. 17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. KJV Matthew 11:4 Jesus replied, "Go back and report to John what you hear and see: 5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. 6 Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me." Messiah_David Enemies Psalms 69:10 (David) When I weep and fast before the LORD, they scoff at me. 11When I dress in sackcloth to show sorrow, they make fun of me. 12 I am the favorite topic of town gossip, and all the drunkards sing about me. 13 But I keep right on praying to you, LORD,hoping this is the time you will show me favor. Come quickly, LORD, and help me. 2 May those who try to destroy mebe humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my troublebe turned back in disgrace. 3 Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said, "Aha! We've got him now!" enemy nations Psalms 68:28 Summon your might, O God. Display your power, O God, as you have in the past. 29 The kings of the earth are bringing tribute to your Temple in Jerusalem. 30 Rebuke these enemy nations--these wild animals lurking in the reeds, this herd of bulls among the weaker calves. Jewish law and tradition of Redemption of Captives Arutz-7 News Brief: Friday, Sept. 28, 2001 ANOTHER EVENT FOR JONATHAN POLLARD The Committee to Bring Jonathan Home announces that noted speaker Rabbi Mordechai Noigershal will be giving a Torah discourse (in Hebrew) in honor of Jonathan Pollard about the fundamental importance in Jewish law and tradition of Redemption of Captives. The Committee is a grass-roots organization working to increase public awareness about Pollard and to lobby decision makers about him. Rabbi Noigershal will speak this coming Wednesday evening, Chol Hamoed Sukkot, at 8:30 PM in the Mevaser Tov Hall in Mevaseret Zion. Also speaking will be MK Michael Kleiner, who will review the Knesset's activities on behalf of Pollard. Jonathan's wife Esther will speak by phone from Canada, and a discussion on future activities will be held. The Committee sponsored a well-attended lecture by Rabbi Mordechai Elon last month, and additional events are planned. For information, or to volunteer, contact <Gariel@ndsisrael.com>. As a rabbi, I'm waiting for one Islamic cleric to rise in his mosque and declare, 'this terror is immoral'. My message to my Islamic clerical brethren is, if you are silent, you are complicit, you are an accomplice. We tell the people of Israel, we are with you. And we turn to God and say, 'We want to feel Your presence. We pray that You are listening." Rabbi Allen Schwartz of Congregation Ohab Zedek told the crowd: "Psalm 120 states, 'I am all for peace, but when I speak, they are for war.' How many times has Israel asked its neighbors to come to the table to talk? How many victims of terror, grandparents, parents and children must Israel bury? Yet the world speaks in moral relativism. We meet on the eve of Yom Kippur. One translation of 'kippur' is a covering. We must cover - we must meet - this kind of horrific news with even more of our own good deeds, by not giving up hope for a better day."

NLT Assurance Psalms 73:21 Then I realized how bitter I had become, how pained I had been by all I had seen. 22 I was so foolish and ignorant--I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. 23 Yet I still belong to you; you are holding my right hand. 24 You will keep on guiding me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. 25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
